The famous Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign was created in 1959 by Betty Willis and Ted Rogich and placed on the Las Vegas Strip to greet people visiting the America’s playground. Over the years the sign had been moved a few times. The design was never copyrighted and remains in public domain.
